Half-day seminar – Thinking of life beyond your business? Do you understand all your exit options?
Do you fully understand when:
- A Corporate Sale would be a better exit route than a Management Buyout?
- A Management Buyout would be preferable to a Corporate Sale?
Whether you have only just started thinking about life after your business, or have been planning your exit for some time, it is important to understand the full range of exit options available to you. Choosing the right exit route could make a big difference to your eventual outcome.
At this seminar we will look at the range of different options available to a business owner thinking about life beyond their business and how to achieve an exit: principally a Corporate Sale and a management buyout. We will look at what’s involved in each exit route and the principal differences between them. We will assess the situations when a Corporate Sale might be a more beneficial route and situations where a Management Buyout is more likely to achieve a business owner’s aspirations. We will also look at how and why the valuation of a company might not be the same in a Corporate Sale compared to a Management Buyout situation.
Who should attend this seminar?
Company owners and directors (and their advisers) who are:
• Contemplating an exit from their company
• Considering a management buyout
• Facing succession issues
